About Advanced Plastic Recycling
As an Australian manufacturer, Advanced Plastic Recycling (APR) is providing an innovative solution to reuse some of the 400 million tonnes of plastic waste produced in Australia each year. APR is based in South Australia and employ a local workforce to manufacture a quality, long lasting and sustainable timber alternative using Australia’s waste resources.
APR uses Australia’s own kerbside HDPE plastic waste along with untreated post-industrial pine waste to produce a variety of Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) products. Their products are aesthetically pleasing, durable, environmentally friendly, and sustainable. Best of all they can be granulated and recycled again at their end of life.
APR’s operations prevent approximately 1500 tonne of waste plastic and 1500 tonne of sawmill waste from entering landfill each year, create more local jobs, and boost the local economy.
